The interior alone is praised by critics around the world. It offers everything from voice control to climate control. It has turn-by-turn navigation features and the seating accommodations are even more impressive than the spacious front seat accommodations offered by the 2007 Milan.
Passengers in the back seat of the Milan have ample room, loads of stability and can count on an extremely comfortable ride. There is generous space for storage making sure that drivers and passengers have plenty of room for anything they need to transport.
The sound system is concerned, and MP3 player actually comes standard and satellite radio is an affordable option. The 2008 Mercury Milan also offers diagnostics at a mere glance, and drivers and critics alike love the cool, blue ambient lighting, which comes standard.
2008 Mercury Milan
The differences between the 2007 model and the 2008 Mercury Milan are very significant. The 2008 Milan goes above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to luxury and refinement. The interior alone is praised by critics around the world. At the risk of sounding cheesy, it's one model whose form was meant for the runway as much as the highway.
Driving the 2008 Mercury Milan was a pleasure too -- my posterior fit nicely into the interior, thanks to a nicely bucketed front seat. There's an easy-pull latch that keeps you from fumbling for those stupid seatback latches too. I noticed other little niceties, like an abundance of storage cubbyholes, one big enough for a Big Gulp -- as if you'd be drinking out of such a pedestrian container in this style wagon.
One minor beef: there's just a wee too much glare that bounces off the handsome instrument panel. But who's to quibble when there are so many positives? Take a look around at all our photos, reviews, specs and other automotive goodies -- and if you're ready to break out the checkbook, we've got some financing info for you.
Latest style from Milan
Mercury premiered its first sedan in 1939, and dazzles again 7 decades later with the 2008 Mercury Milan. From the waterfall grille to the tail lights (which could fool the driver behind you into believing he's following a German car), the Milan's figure runs crisp and streamlined. At the risk of sounding cheesy, it's one model whose form was meant for the runway as much as the highway.
